1. Scope of Services (Custom Work)
All services provided by S-J Web Designs will be clearly outlined in your personalised proposal or contract. This will include deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
S-J Web Designs reserves the right to decline any project prior to agreement or contract signing.
2. Website Use
You agree to use this website responsibly and lawfully. Any misuse, interference, or attempt to access restricted areas may result in action being taken.
3. Age Requirement
Services provided by S-J Web Designs are intended for individuals aged 18 and over. By using this website or services, you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all designs, graphics, and creative work produced by S-J Web Designs remain the intellectual property of S-J Web Designs until full payment has been received.
Once full payment is made, ownership of the final agreed website design is transferred to the client (excluding any third-party assets, themes, or plugins).
You may not:

Resell or redistribute design work

Claim the work as your own design

Copy or reuse designs for other projects without permission
Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
5. Website Compatibility & Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure any external platforms, hosting, or third-party tools are suitable for their needs.
S-J Web Designs is not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, software updates, or misuse of the website after handover.
6. Payment Terms – Custom Projects
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project and booking slot.
The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to final handover of the website.
If content, feedback, or approvals are delayed, this may impact timelines and could result in additional charges where applicable.
7. Ongoing Hosting & Maintenance (If Applicable)
If you choose a hosting or maintenance package with S-J Web Designs, this will be billed monthly as agreed.
Failure to make payments may result in suspension of services or your website being taken offline until payment is received.
8. Cancellations (Custom Work)
Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, any additional work completed beyond the deposit value may be invoiced accordingly.
S-J Web Designs reserves the right to cancel a project if necessary.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any issues will always be approached with open and honest communication to reach a fair resolution.
If required, disputes will be handled under UK law.
10. Updates to Terms
S-J Web Designs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on this website.
